Watch the Eclipse Live on Valentine Radio News

WEST TEXAS (Ben Caxton) — It’s solar eclipse day across the Trans Pecos. Far Western Texas will see up to 65 percent coverage of the sun during today’s national total solar eclipse. The eclipse will happen here between 12:20 PM and 3:15 PM with maximum coverage occurring shortly before 2:00 PM. Coverage increases from around 55% along the border to over 80% in northeast Texas. Stores across the state have reported selling out of eclipse glasses. The McDonald Observatory in Fort Davis is hosting a live viewing party. But if you can’t make it to the observatory and don’t have glasses you can safely watch NASA’s live stream online at valentineradionews.com/eclipse.
