Van Horn Funeral Home Remembers 1st Responders On 9/11

VAN HORN, TX (Ben Caxton) — The Van Horn Advocate posted pictures on their Facebook page yesterday of some special recognition for local first responders on the anniversary of the 9/11. Linda Hillin, representing the Heritage Funeral Home of Van Horn, delivered sandwich platters to members of Culberson County Hospital and EMS, the Culberson County Sheriff’s Office and the local office of the Texas Highway Patrol. In Alpine a ceremony honoring those lost was help at the Border Patrol Station. The terrorist attacks on 9/11 sixteen years ago resulted in the deaths of nearly three thousand people.
