Pipeline Protest Leads to Two Arrests

In a scene only fans of The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy would appreciate, two local people are in jail for attempting to see who would rust first – themselves, or a pipe-laying machine working on the Trans Pecos pipeline. Mark Glover of Alpine and Jakki Hagans of Cut-n-Shoot were arrested Saturday after laying down on the ground in front of the equipment in order to block construction.  A Go Fund Me account has been set up by Lori Glover to pay for legal expenses for Glover and Hagans. Mark Glover is a former news director at Valentine Radio.
