Noble Energy Buys Up More of Reeves County

DELAWARE BASIN (Ben Caxton) — Noble Energy continues to expand its holdings in the Delaware basin. Valentine Radio news reported last week about a $300 million dollar cash sale that brought noble 7,200 acres of land in Reeves county. Today it was revealed that Noble has made an agreement with Clayton Williams Energy to acquire all stocks for $2.7 billion. Acquisitions in the deal include more than ten times the amount of land purchased last week – in total another 71,000 acres of the Southern Delaware Basin in Reeves and Ward County. The deal includes also thousands more Southern Delaware drilling locations.
