Injured 67 Year Old Hiker Rescued

A sixty-seven year old woman was rescued late last week after having become lost in the Big Bend National Park. The unidentified woman injured her ankle and spent the night alone in Cold Canton, unable to leave on her own. A call tipped of US Customs and Border Protection agents who were patrolling nearby and rescued the woman the next day. The rugged terrain required the federal agents to request assistance to safely remove the injured hiker from the canyon.
