Commission Recognizes Culberson Sheriff’s Office

CULBERSON COUNTY, TX (Ben Caxton) — The Texas Commission on Jail Standards has complemented the Culberson County Sheriff’s Department for their “excellent work.” In a letter to Sheriff Oscar Carillo dated February 24 the commission said that in a recent inspection their facility is in compliance with “Texas Minimum Jail Standards” and demonstrates “outstanding leadership” and “diligent” work by staff. Executive Director Brandon Wood added that “The citizens of Culberson County should be proud” of the Sheriff’s efforts.
